Medication Management
& Therapy Services

Hi, I'm JJ  Jones

Welcome to my practice. I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who helps adults with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and alcohol use disorder improve their lives with personalized mental health treatment.

I have extensive experience treating both men and women with mental illness, complex trauma, and co-morbid conditions. I believe that true healing happens when we treat patients as a whole — mind, body, and spirit. I am also a trauma survivor, which greatly informs the work I do with my patients. My biggest strength is my ability to be an empathetic listener. I understand, I care, and I can help you get better.

If you’re looking for a trusted advisor to your mental health who will:

  • Listen to you

  • Offer treatment that gets to the root of the problem

  • Consider medication AN option, not the ONLY option

Then you’re in the right place.

My areas of focus

Anxiety & Depression

You feel like you’ve been living in a haze. It’s difficult to get out of bed in the morning, and doing everyday tasks feel insurmountable. It’s hard to care about doing things you used to enjoy, and you feel snappy at everyone.

If you want more than just a pill to address your concerns, I can help you to feel more energetic, motivated, and like yourself, just mentally lighter.

Trauma & PTSD

When you're navigating the aftermath of trauma, each day might feel like an uphill battle. It could be challenging to arrive on time, remain focused, meet deadlines, or keep things organized. Trauma can sometimes lead you to make decisions more impulsively, as you cope with the stress.

It's important to know that you're not alone in these feelings and that it's possible to regain a sense of control and confidence. Envision yourself being able to plan with care, establish effective routines, and enhance your time management skills in a way that accommodates your healing process. You're ready to reclaim your professional life, with methods that support your journey towards recovery.

ADHD & Burnout

You always feel like you’re racing against the clock - and losing. You’re always showing-up late, constantly distracted, having difficulty meeting deadlines, can’t get organized, and have a history of making impulsive decisions.

You’re ready to feel in control and confident you can execute the tasks you commit to. You’re able to plan ahead, make an effective schedule, and optimize your time management skills. You’re ready to start excelling professionally.

Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD)

Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) affects nearly 30 million Americans annually. It is characterized by uncontrollable drinking affecting your health and relationships. You may be struggling with cravings and withdrawal symptoms, signaling the need for change. Seeking treatment is a brave step, and we're here to offer compassionate, evidence-based, support to guide you toward recovery.

Our Clients Say

In such a simple, but yet profound way, you’ve altered the direction of my life--not with some deep, complicated revelation, but by just a simple redirect of changing your perspective and focusing on all that you have gained and redefining hope; It’s remarkable how something so straightforward can have such a significant impact. Perhaps you were the only person I could have heard those words from, because I’ve been closed off to receiving counsel from anyone, feeling that they didn’t understand or truly care.

Hey, JJ. Great meeting with you. Thanks for giving me a sliver of hope. I didn’t think I could feel that today.

Your compassion, presence, and heart were evident from the start, and it’s truly made all the difference. I can confidently say that you are exactly where you’re meant to be. I can only imagine how many lives you’ve impacted, even if you don’t always receive that feedback. I just want to express how deeply grateful I am for you, your life, and the path you’ve chosen to walk. Because one day, there would be a young man who desperately needed your help, and, more importantly, he would need your guidance to mend his relationship with Jesus.

For the first time in 22 years, since Dr. Haggerty left, JJ was the first doctor that we really felt put her patients first. We know that her official title is NP however, to us she is a doctor. She is concerned, caring, and compassionate. With JJ, you are not just a patient; you feel that she is your friend. She doesn't pull any punches and gets straight to the point. She is honest and doesn't try to "sugar coat" any situation. She doesn't solve all your problems by writing a prescription. She gives you recommendations and options.
